Shoot 2: Evidence - Work Diary

Evaluation
In this session my aim was to take a completely different angle of evidence and focus on natural evidence such as weathering rather than forced evidence of people and damage / damaging things as I have done before. I disliked this shoot because I don't like the topics of the photographs of outside I much prefer to set up my shoots, for example I can't shoot weathering indoors and I prefer to shoot indoors. There are also many more areas of evidence of people which I would like to shoot rather than evidence of weathering which is rather limited.

Today's Example Shots:

Progression
After studying evidence of weathering in this session I have decided I do not like this angle of evidence and would much prefer to carry on with evidence of people/their actions/the damage or changes we, as people make to ourselves and our surroundings. I did not like evidence of weathering as I prefer to shoot in the studio and to do evidence of weathering I would obviously have to do location shoots, I also find more inspiration in studio shoots as you can change things to be how you want them to be. In my next shoot I plan to drift away from the topic of weathering as I am sure I want my focus to remain on people and evidence rather than natural evidence, therefore I plan to look at the concept of evidence left by people and their actions for example melting candle wax, lipstick on food and drinks and makeup.
